Say Yes To The Dress

So I was watching Say Yes To The Dress the other day (I hardly ever watch tv but I was somewhere that had cable and I figured why not) and let me tell you, it made me want to get married. Or at least have someone bring me endless amounts of pretty dresses to try on and flounce about in.
I love weddings, as I have said before, and I in fact have six to go to this year (one down five to go) and I'm even in one of them. I'm pretty excited.
As cliche as it sounds there's just something about seeing two people who love each other so much that they want to commit to spending the rest of their lives together, and say it in front of all of their closest friends and family, that makes me happy.

On a similar note if you have some spare time, or if you don't care about wasting time, check out this post. So many lovely dresses.

I particularly love this one, but I wouldn't wear it to my wedding... more like a grand ball or something.

On another similar note, my friends joked that my Prom dress for senior year was in fact quite wedding dress like…

*Edit: Make that seven weddings.

I'm Technologic

But not that technologic....

So I'm trying to create a logo/shop banner and I came up with this design as one idea however I'm not sure of the best way to achieve it.....
As seen above my paint skills were... err.. not that successful (you try writing cursive with a mouse) however it's a general idea.
Any thoughts?
Any ideas as to how I could go about this other than trying to use paint on the computer?
Again this is just one idea, not sure if I like it or not, but I figured I might as well share and get opinions.

Night Owl

Up working on a new project or two, and listening to a little Sufjan Stevens, The Black Keys and Vampire Weekend.
Had a splendid weekend. Filled with all the things a good weekend should be filled with. Good friends, mexican food, music, sleeping in, art, thrifting, an interesting movie or two, a book sale, sun bathing on quilts in the grass, encouraging conversations, new nail polish, good church service, overly fashion forward outfits and cupcakes.
I'm perfectly content and don't mind in the least that Monday is here.

I'm Late I'm Late For A Very Important Date

Ok so there wasn't really a date that was made to get this done by, but maybe there should have been because opening up my Etsy shop is taking way longer then originally planned....
I am the queen of procrastination.
I think it's just been a little overwhelming for me thinking about all the stuff I still have to do to get it done and how I just need to buckle down and do it already.
I have been making things, but not nearly as much as I wanted for the first opening of the shop.
I think what I need to do is give myself a deadline, and publicly announce it so that I have that pressure to actually get it done.....
This sort of technique rarely works for me (I am famous for my late Birthday/Christmas gifts) but there's a first time for everything.
Right?
