Cross off #10

Well I've at least accomplished #10 on my recently posted to do list.

You know, I'd totally be fine if this was all I got done this week.
Because I am completely content at the moment.
And isn't that one of the ultimate goals anyway?
However I've also accomplished #3, #14, #15 and #17.
And #11, #12 and #13 are works in progress at this very moment.
And come the end of the weekend #1 and #9 will more most definitely be crossed off.
I'll be lucky if I get to #7.......

Sleeping in

Today Will Be A Well Spent Day

"A well spent day brings happy sleep." -Leonardo Da Vinci

I have been very busy lately. As usual. However today I was fortunate enough to get off of work. And even though I have 34 different things that I should be doing, today is going to be spent doing nothing but reading.
I love reading.
But sadly I have not made time for it in quite awhile. I miss it.
So if you need me, talk to me tomorrow.
Because I am a little busy getting lost in a good book of a far off land in which lovely adventurous things happen.

Along those same lines.... Book suggestions? I need to renew my reading list. What are some of your favorite books?

New Mexico

Well I am back in RVA with sun-kissed skin, new mexican dust on my boots, twice as much stuff as I left with, an extra 1500 pictures or so on my computer, 5 rolls of film in need of developing, lots of new memories and a great trip to remember.
It was, to say the least, enchanting.
(More pictures to come)

Happy Independence Day

Happy July 4th!
Wear something festive, go to a parade, grill out, watch some fireworks, eat a popsicle, play with sparklers, drink some lemonade, and celebrate America's independence. Yay!
