Just Another To Do List
I love making lists.
For some reason making the list itself makes me feel almost as if I've accomplished all the things on it already. Or that I'm at least half way to doing so. I've also noticed that when I share with other people what some of the things I have to do are (sorry if you've ever been one of those people, I know I can go on forever about it...) I am more inclined to get them done.
It subconsciously holds me accountable I think.
So.
Don't bother to keep reading (but don't tell me you're not because I have to think you are so that this works. Remember, accountability and all) because this is to force me into being hopefully productive.
Or if anything at least spend five minutes procrastinating.

Now that's some successful thrifting.

In The Words of Lucy....
I've been surprised with some lovely little gifts lately. Just-because and for-no-reason presents are always the best.
(Also known as Unbirthday presents)
Remember when I made a book box? Well a friend of mine made one for me! So now I have my own.
(Austin Kleon-esque art and all)
A cute little treasure chest, beaten and scratched up all rustically and stained.
(Is it bad that I really like the way stain/varnish smells......?)
A hand carved owl for my owl collection.
His name is Julius.

Some Fellow Etsy'ers
Then again I don't know if I can say "fellow" since mine isn't open yet.....
But regardless, check out a fun new article on two local artists (pictures taken by me of course) who have some super unique and funky pieces that you are just going to love. Met these two at First Friday's a few months back, and they were extremely sweet and fun to talk to for a bit.
Lisa (on the right) is wearing a bathing suit from an Italy flea market as a tank top.
Talk about style.
I love it.
The weekend is here! Hurray! Go do something fun.
