To Knit List

Most of you who know me, know that I am a little (okay a lot) obsessed with knitting.
Between knitting new things here and there for the shop I, of course, make projects for myself.
Since it's been perfect knitting weather I have been perusing my knitting patterns and knitting websites and knitting boards on Pinterest a little more than usual and I have a plethora of things I want to make.

Here is a list of some that I hope to get to before the year's out!
(Or before next year's out... to be more realistic)

(Except with maybe a bunny instead?!)

Learn the daisy stitch (as seen on these handwarmers)

A Hot Water Bottle Cover
Or this one or this one
(After I get a hot water bottle of course...)

Today I am sharing, as promised, the photos of Morganne!
Isn't she gorgeous?
And seriously, how cute is she in Jordan's baseball hats?

Jordan

Meet Jordan.

He loves baseball.
Which you will soon see once you start looking at the photos.
In fact he was very patient with me as I attempted to pretend that I knew more than I did about baseball, as I had him pose around the bases and such.
Sports just have never been one of my best attributes.
Or an attribute at all actually...
Anyway, we had a great afternoon and after getting used to me and my goofiness he warmed up to me and we bonded over our mutual craving for mexican food.
And, despite his Mom's beliefs, I even got him to smile a couple of times!
;)
His lovely girlfriend Morganne also came along and I got a few cute shots of them together as well, which are at the end.
See for yourself:

Morganne actually was so photogenic that I couldn't resist getting a few extra shots of her that I'm going to share tomorrow.
So make sure you check back for that!

This Is The Way

A friend shared this verse with me recently, and I found it very inspiring.

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
Isaiah 30:21

It's definitely hard sometimes making decisions with certain things.
Though I do think that sometimes there are more distinct yes and no answers for decisions we make, I feel that often when it comes to deciding whether or not to do something, there's no real right or wrong answer, as long as we are pursuing God whole heartedly, praying and making sure we're checking in with him about things. If we really have a heart for God and are actively pursuing him, than his desires will be our desires, and he'll be with us on whichever path we choose.

Meagan

Some of you may recognize Meagan from past posts.
I assisted her in shooting one or two weddings over the Summer and she also did a lovely feature of me on her blog recently!
And on top of all of that she helped me design a new logo for my photos! See the little glasses in the corner? A brilliant collaboration of our geniuses. If we do say so ourselves.
I'm a little in love with it in case you can't tell.
Anyway, when we got together to take some photos of me for her feature I, of course, had to take some shots of her as well.
And not just because she was having a good hair day... as she put it.
I'm pretty sure she could have had a bad hair day and still be gorgeous!
See for yourself.

A Small Monday Post

I am so excited about the new logo Meagan created for me.
I couldn't be more in love with it!

Thanks for the help Meagan, your cabled headband will be arriving to you shortly ;)

What do you guys think?
