Follow Up

So I have a few things to follow up on today. It's been so busy (as usual) that I've forgotten about updating you on some things!
So here we go:

The Hope Thrift charity event went marvelously! They were able to raise over $3,000 for The Skills Development Center! Thanks to everyone who went and shopped and supported.

Tori from Fashion, Trends and More won the giveaway for one of my handmade necklaces! Check out her cute outfit post featuring the necklace. Congratulations girl!

I'm getting ready to send out this past months percentage donation from commissions, the craft show and the shop to The A21 Campaign. In case you didn't know, a portion of all my sales go to supporting them with helping victims of human trafficking each month. It feels good to be able to send them some money and know that every little bit helps. Here's to making this months donation even bigger! ;)

I'm doing another craft show this Saturday! Want to come? Email me (by.leney@gmail.com) for more details.

The Limited grand opening went wonderfully on Friday! It was so neat getting to be a part of it and meeting some really cool people. Look for a Limited gift card giveaway soon and a post on the days events including a interview with the CEO!

Also this weekend I had a mini photoshoot with local photographer Kristin Partin and I cannot wait to see the pictures and share some with you! My friend Kaytee also helped and took some pictures of her own.

And I think that's all for now.
Hopefully this will be a productive week, there are a lot of things in the works and of course on top of that it's Christmas gift making/buying time! I could not be more excited.
Christmas is my favorite.

P.s. I recently broke down and got a Pinterest...... I couldn't help it. So follow me (see side bar)!

Exciting News!

I have some exciting News to share with everyone!
I will be attending The Limited's grand opening this Friday! And not only that, but I and three other bloggers will be covering the event, have a tour of the new store, receive a $50 gift card to giveaway here on the blog (stay tuned!) and have an opportunity to interview the CEO Linda Heasley.
Cool right?
Also a percentage of your purchase goes to the YWCA.
I'm pretty excited.

Now to figure out what to wear......

Outfit Post: A Necklace

Happy November!
I can't believe it's November already. This October seems to have been the fastest month of my life.
I like november and all, but I feel gypped. We basically have already skipped Fall, which is my favorite, and are onto Winter now.
Not ok.
But anyway, here are a couple of quick photos of a recent outfit (which you will be able to judge by my sleevelessness was worn before it decided to become a Winter wonderland around here).
I love this necklace. It is my absolute favorite. It used to be my grandmothers and she gave it to me a few years ago complete with the matching bracelet and earrings.
The last photo is of her wearing it (obviously in newer, shinier conditions).
Isn't she beautiful?
The earrings I'm wearing actually aren't the originals though. I lost one when I wore them to my senior prom and I was so upset. But while shopping at a little antique shop this Summer I came across an exact matching pair! So the set is now complete again.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!
Hope everyone has had a fun and safe Halloween weekend. Here are a few pictures from my weekend so far. My boyfriend and I were... can you guess? Calvin and Hobbes. And if you don't know who Calvin and Hobbes are your childhood is incomplete.
Better pictures of Halloween costumes coming soon.
Have a Happy Halloween, go eat some candy!

Don't forget to check out some stylish Halloween costumes if you need a last minute idea!
