Be In Love With Your Life

Be in love with your life.
Every minute of it.
///Jack Kerouac

I came across these words yesterday, ones that I've saved on my computer in a document full of similarly inspirational words to inspire and encourage and uplift whenever the need arises.
I thought about how often we forget to be in love with our lives.
How we let the daily tasks, errands, lists and worries get us down.
How we frequently forget, or choose not to, see the good and lovely things in those tasks, errands, lists and worries.
How easily we forget to love.
And there are so many things to love too.

Don't look past them so easily.
Don't forget to be in love with your life.

Today I'm In Love With

Peanut butter//the way knitting needles feel in my hands//those daily phone calls//a fresh new month//hot water bottles//old photos//the smell of freshly baked bread//waking up to the sun//weekend plans//free craft supplies//Lewis and his bunny nose

Callie

My friend Callie is probably the only other person I know who is almost, if not just as, obsessed with knitting as I am.
She recently asked me to help her take some photos of some things she's made for her Etsy shop and I thought I would share a few of them with you and give her a little shout out!
She makes some beautiful things so you should definitely head over to her shop to check them out.
Isn't she a cutie?
And those eyes... talk about gorgeous.

 ..............................

The last one is definitely my favorite.
Such a funny girl.

A Sweater

Remember the sweater from this post?
Well it is now, finally, available in the shop!
Go get one for yourself here!
It really is one of my favorite knits ever.
The teal green one shown in the last photo is my personal one and I wear it all the time!
I made it from some beautiful hand spun, hand dyed yarn that I got from New Mexico (which I also briefly mentioned in this post and this one) and I am in love with it.
It keeps you so warm and cozy, I've actually worn it in place of a coat a few times!
It's definitely a great addition to any winter wardrobe.
I really am so excited about this design though and I'm already coming up with my next one!
What do you guys think?

Thanks for helping me take photos Meagan!

Jimenez Girls Part 2

Here's part 2 of the Jimenez girls photos!
I really can't stress enough how awesome these girls are, how much I love them, and how beautiful they are!
Of course you can plainly see the latter for yourself!
The last one is a personal favorite. Reenacting an old family photo. Pretty hilarious.
Oh and the second to last one cracks me up too.
Future band photo? I think yes.
Hope you're starting off your week in a good and productive way!
Enjoy the photos!

Lewis Update

Some of you ask about Lewis every so often and how he's doing.
He shows his little face in my week in review posts every so often, but I thought I would write an extra little post to let you know that he's doing well.
He's as ornery, saucy and grumpy as ever actually... but that's normal.
Doesn't make him any less cute.
It might make him more cute actually. Because he's this tiny little being and he has this big "don't mess with me or I'll hurt you" attitude.
He thinks he's so tough.
It's pretty hilarious.
His favorite thing in the whole world lately is to chew on cardboard toilet paper rolls.
Yep. The life of a bunny.
He appreciates the love though (it's gone to his head actually) and I'll try to share some more photos of him soon for all you fellow bunny lovers!
